Best AR Games For Android
1. Father.io
Out of all the AR games on Android that we tested, our number one pick would be Father.io, and nope it has nothing to with anyone’s dad it’s a first shooter game played in Augmented reality. The gameplay is pretty intuitive, you have to shoot the alien spaceship before they can kill you. Like every game, it’s simple at first but gets complicated as you go. The best thing about the app is, it’s the only AR app we could find that works on mid-range phones like the Redmi note 5. So, if you’re looking for a good AR game which is fun as well as channelling, give it try.

19. AR Ruler App
We often don’t require a measuring tape but when we do, we all struggle to find it. So rather than struggling in the entire house to find it, you can simply use your phone as a measuring tool using this app. It uses your smartphone camera to detect a plane surface for a starting point. You can measure most of the things, such as distance, angle, perimeter and even volume of 3D objects. The app is free however if you want to remove ads and archive your measurements, you’ll have to subscribe at $1.5/year, after a 3-day trial period.

20. AR Copy Paste
If you’re a designer and you work on Illustrator, Photoshop or other illustrative apps, imagine being able to pick any object that you like around you and copying it straight to the digital canvas. Cool right? The AR Copy Paste App lets you do exactly that. All you have to do is point your phone at an object you want to copy and move the phone to your desktop to paste it. The app essentially does it by separating the background with the foreground. It takes about two seconds to copy and four seconds to paste the object, but since it’s still in beta version, we can expect faster speed once it rolls out. The app can only be accessed on request using this form. If you want to learn more about it you can check their website and also have a look at the source code.
